ROOK - new line of reversible ploughs
ROOK - new line of reversible ploughs
In the new line of reversible ploughs ROOK the centre of gravity has been shifted closer to the tractor, thanks to the connection of the rotary front plough head with the frame by means of so called pantograph system. It allows the plough to be aggregated with tractors of lower lifting capacity.
ROOK ploughs have got spot-adjustable three-stage mechanical or variable hydraulic adjustment of ploughing width. These ploughs are equipped with BIG LONG bodies type, which are designed to work at depth of over 30 cm. They are mounted on a specially profiled forged plough beam. The frame without welds has got a cross-section of 160x160 mm and the entire weight of the plough maintains the rotary pivot pin of 150 mm diameter.
ROOK ploughs in 5- or 6-body versions are an interesting alternative to semi-mounted ploughs, especially while work on wedgelike fields or fields with a large number of obstructions such as trees.
